The spider is very, very old
He lives in the corner of our house
He is a Daddy Long Legs
And he is our friend
Because he eats the mozzies
Who keep me awake at night
He is my quiet friend
The Water Hole

Splish splash splosh!
Wild fish tails stir the water hole
Dragonfly’s wings glitter in the
sun light
As the bounding frogs jump to lily pad to lily pad
The sun shines down
As birds call peacefully.
Crickets chirp
As night falls, a blanket of stars appears.
The Little Frog

Once there was a little frog,
Sitting on a hollow log
When he wanted to get cool,
He would jump in the pool
Then as a special treat,
He would get a fly to eat
I think frogs are really great,
I bought a toy one at the fete.
