Turning 6
by Perrin Tarlinton
Eating cake,
With my brother .
Sparkling candles,
Blow them out.
Rainbow colours,
Getting messy.
Sticky fingers,
Lick them, Yum!
Lots of presents,
Ripping paper.
Hearing crunching,
Happy smile.
Camera's on,
Taking photos.
Music playing,
Birthday fun!
Snow Snow
by Andrew Browning
Snow snow
Looks like ice-cream
You can build a snow-man
With a nose of a carrot.
It’s like frozen tears from crying clouds
That have tried to be melted
by the sun
When the sun comes out
The snow melts.
The people get warmer
And the snow turns into water.
Drip, drip drip, plop.
Laura

Laura, Laura
In the night sky
You shine in the moon light
And I can see your beautiful shadow
You came to visit
Mummy and Me, Daddy
and Brendan
I love you very very much sister
You are my guide
The Snow
by Sara Parrish
The snow is white and I love to play in it
And it is cold like ice.
It is every where and
It is like a slippery slide,
It is water and cold.
The snow is like a frozen ice block.
And it is a cloud crying,
Crying from the white sky.
So I go outside
To play in the white snow,
When I go back inside
I am covered with snow.
When the sun comes out, the snow melts.
Trickle water trickle,
Drip, Drip, Drip
Magical Creatures
by Lillian Horneman-Wren
DRAGONS ARE SCARY,
DRAGONS ARE CRUEL.
DRAGONS ARE SCALY
THEY MAKE YOU A FOOL
SOME FAIRIES ARE PRETTY,
SOME FAIRIES HAVE MOLES.
SOME LIVE IN THE GARDEN,
AND SOME LIVE DOWN HOLES
MERMAIDS ARE LOVELY,
THEY LIVE IN THE SEA.
PLAYING WITH THEIR FISHY FRIENDS,
IT’S JUST THE PLACE TO BE
NOW YOU KNOW MY MAGICAL FRIENDS,
WITH US TOGETHER
THE FUN NEVER ENDS.
