Compete for the chance to go to the Woodford Slam Final to compete for $1,000 cash and the coveted perpetual "WordFood Slam trophy"
- Slam is a live spoken word competition open to all forms - poetry, hip hop, theatre, whatever!
- Each person slams their words for 2 minutes to a live audience among whom 5 are selected to score each poet's work.
- The first 15 people to sign up on the night get to strut their words, with the top 3 going through to the final at Woodford on New Year's Eve.
Winner receives a season pass to the 2008/9 Woodford Folk Festival!
