As one mother’s fear,
Become her daughter’s worst nightmare.
Breast Cancer patient, she was now classed.
I could not help having a silent tear,
How is this even fair?
I continually asked?

I don’t want to believe it,
This can’t be true,
I just have to sit,
Why did this have to happen to you?

She’s turning purple,
She has no hair,
I don’t want you to become an angel,
I want us to stay a pair.

They told me they had a cure,
But now, I’m not too sure.
I will always remember how it feels,
To remember something so frightfully real
