My Saxophone by Hannah Larsen (Highly Commended)

I love to play the saxophone,
I don’t just play it at home,
If I let my imagination flow,
Here are some places I could go:

I play with the band at school,
I play it in the swimming pool,
I play it down the main street,
And outside in the heat.

I play it on top of a green sea turtle,
I play it during a 50 metre hurdle,
I play it on a mountain top,
And when I’m in a lolly shop.

I play upon the fluffy clouds,
I play it in front of millions of crowds
I play it in my imaginary place,
And when I’m floating in outer space

I wake up to find myself sitting on my bed,
These things have been going all in my head,
I’m playing out loud from the bottom of my heart
I hope my music will never part.
