Who would have thought
an eagle, would make his home
in Ipswich?
Well, he has, soaring dipping and diving, daily
he has made his presence felt.
Hovering in the thermals
he is majestic.
Flying lower he is pointlessly pursued
by overly ambitious small fry.
His arc is wide,
no doubt ambling over Amberley.
Is he besotted with a C-17,
his majestic equal?
Who knows, who cares,
he is.
