If I could be any colour in the world
it would be brown.
Brown like a big brown bear
Sleeping in his forest cave
Hiding from the winter snows
And bitter winds
Just sleeping …

Brown like a lion
Lying quietly under a baobab tree
On the vast grasslands of Africa
Lazily swatting flies with his long tail
Just waiting……

Brown like a Hobo Spider
Preying on beetles and soft  insects
On a big, brown log
Camouflaged, to confuse it’s predators
Quietly crunching …….

Brown is the best colour for me
